About the club
Association Sportive Conchil was founded in 1985 in Conchil-le-Temple, a village in the Pas-de-Calais on the banks of the Authie, between Berck and Montreuil-sur-Mer. The place takes its name from a Templar commandery, the Temple-lès-Waben, and two of its knights were arrested and burned at the stake in Montreuil in 1307. The club, known to its own supporters as "l'Ascotte", plays in green and white hoops.
Affiliated to the Côte d'Opale district, it fields its first team in the district's top division and counts around 140 registered members across three senior sides and some ten youth teams. The values it proclaims are simple: enjoyment, respect, solidarity and fraternity. Village football, but with an identity of its own and forty years of history behind it.
