CRCD Varziela 1982

Varziela is proof that one parish is enough to fill the internet. Founded in 1982 in Varziela, Felgueiras, the club plays the Porto FA leagues out of the Parque Desportivo Jairipe and has become a phenomenon of digital parish pride, with more followers than many professional clubs. The official motto is four words: Passion, Coherence, Neighbourhood Pride, Mentality. And the shirts take it literally: for the 40th anniversary, in 2022, the club printed its own supporters' faces on the away kit, because when Varziela steps onto the pitch every varzielense steps on too, and in 2024/25 it handed the pencil to the academy children. On the crest, an old style cross; on the chest, an entire parish.
