About the club
Club de Deportes Temuco was officially born on 27 June 1916 in Santiago, as Green Cross, though the city of Temuco's current structure dates back to 1960, when Club Deportivo Bancario reorganised as Corporación Club de Deportes Temuco. The two histories merged on 20 March 1965, when the Temuco club absorbed Santiago's Green Cross, adopting the Maltese cross crest it still wears today. The ANFP has officially recognised 1916 as the founding year since 2012.
The Albiverdes play at Estádio Germán Becker, the "Lion of Ñielol", and hold the record for Chilean Primera B titles, including 2015/16. The colours are white and green, with black as secondary.
