About the club

Mamoré was born on 13 June 1949, the feast day of Santo Antônio, patron saint of Patos de Minas, founded by a group of army sergeants, among them Andrade, on a flooded patch of Cesário Alvim street that served as a rifle range. The name honours the Mamoré river, an Amazon tributary, and the nickname Sapo, Toad, has stuck ever since. It only turned professional in 1989, but has since collected three Módulo II titles (1991, 2000, 2014), three Terceira Divisão titles and two Campeonato Mineiro do Interior crowns, always in duel with local rivals URT.

It plays at the Estádio Bernardo Rubinger de Queiroz, opened in 2009 on its 60th anniversary, and reaches 2025 with 76 years of history in the Alto Paranaíba.
