About the club
FK Inđija were born on 3 October 1933 as ŽAK Inđija, the club of the Yugoslav railways workers, in a Vojvodina town halfway between Belgrade and Novi Sad. The railway DNA never left: the stadium was built on the site of the old locomotive depot, right next to the station and the line connecting Belgrade to Budapest. After decades in the lower divisions under various names, from Železničar to Agrounija, the club had its finest hour in 2010, winning the Serbian second division and debuting in the SuperLiga in 2010/11. They returned to the elite in 2019/20 and 2020/21, always faithful to the nickname that says it all: Zelena Armija, the Green Army.
