Mon Thong Wittaya is a Thai school team from Chachoengsao Province that became one of the most inspiring stories in Thai youth football in 2025.
Coming from a small school outside the country’s biggest football centres, the team went viral after reaching the final of the 7HD Football Champion Cup, a national seven-a-side school tournament. Along the way, they defeated some of Thailand’s most established school football names and captured the attention of fans across the country.
What made the story special was not only the football, but the spirit around it. The old vehicle used by the team, driven by coach Sakol Kliangprasert, became part of the legend: a “dream carrier” that perfectly symbolised their journey, humility and belief.
