About the club
SC Pöcking-Possenhofen is the club of a blue blooded village: Pöcking, on the western shore of Lake Starnberg south of Munich, is home to Possenhofen Castle, where Empress Sissi spent her childhood summers. The Sportclub was born in 1928 and is a complete village club, football living alongside tennis, table tennis, skiing and gymnastics at the Keltenstraße Sportpark.
On the pitch, life happens in Upper Bavaria's district leagues, in the Zugspitze circuit, overlooking the lake of kings and empresses. Real royalty on one side, Sunday football on the other, and the same green and white hoops serving both.
