Västerås SK

Founded in 1904 in Västerås, an industrial city on the shores of Lake Mälaren, VSK is a rare case of successful sporting bigamy: the Gröna Vita are simultaneously a football club and a bandy powerhouse, with dozens of Swedish titles in the latter. In football, the story is one of stubbornness, with spells in the Allsvenskan separated by long crossings of the lower tiers, including a 2024 return to the elite that ended a near three decade drought, and another promotion secured for 2026.
