Sant’Elena Calcio 1993/94 Home Shirt

Italian 90s in a state of grace: jacquard with the Biemme monogram woven into the cloth, black framed panels, a buttoned collar and a 4 with a three dimensional shadow on the back, typography no modern computer would dare propose. It is a match worn shirt from the 1993/94 Sardinian Eccellenza, the reborn Sant'Elena's 13th place season, played at the Is Arenas, which in Sardinian means the sands.

The sponsor is the collection's most literal: Stella Marina, civil and industrial cleaning, set a yellow starfish swimming in the middle of the chest. A starfish upon the sands, two steps from Quartu's beaches, with Biemme, then dressing Serie A's Cagliari, giving the neighbour the same rich provincial cut.
