About the club
Bayamón FC was born in 1999 in Puerto Rico's second largest city and is today the island's most successful football club. Liga Mayor champions in 2000 and 2002, back-to-back Liga Nacional champions in 2010 and 2011, and Liga Puerto Rico champions in 2021, it plays at the 12,500 capacity Juan Ramón Loubriel Stadium. In 2016 it became the first academy anywhere in David Villa's DV7 programme, and in 2014-15 it debuted in the CONCACAF Champions League. The shirt colours are not green: they are the city's own yellow and grey.
