The story
A Caribbean rarity in yellow and grey hoops on white. Founded in 1999, Bayamón FC hit its peak during this era: back-to-back Liga Nacional titles (2010 and 2011), regular runs in the CFU Club Championship, even fielding legendary Costa Rican international Walter Centeno and a historic debut in the 2014-15 CONCACAF Champions League, drawn against none other than Club América.
The shirt captures that high point: Goya (the food giant headquartered in Bayamón itself), Claro, Powerade, Pan Pepín and the city government all share space with the classic BFC crest. And the detail that fools everyone: the flag on the back of the neck isn't Finland's, it's Bayamón's municipal flag, white with a blue Nordic cross.
