SG Leipzig-Leutzsch e.V.

SG Leipzig-Leutzsch is an amateur football club from the Leutzsch district in western Leipzig, Saxony. The area has a deep-rooted footballing culture — it is home to BSG Chemie Leipzig, the most historically prominent club in the neighbourhood, whose influence on local identity extends to the colours worn by smaller clubs in the area. Green and white stripes are the defining palette of this footballing community, a visual shorthand for local belonging.
