SG Leipzig-Leutzsch e.V. 2011/12 Home Shirt
Joma · Germany
The story
Joma with no sponsor, and the empty chest tells the whole story: this is the club born in May 2011 from FC Sachsen's bankruptcy to keep football alive in Leutzsch, with no money, no sponsor and a brand new crest feigning normality over the wound. The 2011/12 season was the first of its life: it inherited the bankrupt club's reserve team spot in the Sachsenliga and the keys to the Alfred-Kunze-Sportpark itself.
It lasted three seasons in all: renamed SG Sachsen Leipzig, it caught the same financial disease and closed in 2014, the ground passing entirely to the fans' BSG Chemie.
Here at Hoopster, this is the fragile half of the Leutzsch pair: the debut shirt of a club that existed for only three years, worn at the same old ground.
