The story

Long sleeves for indoor courts, green hoops over cream white, the Dutch royal crest in gold, and the signature of whoever made it all happen: 2M Serigrafica on the chest, likely the very print shop that made this shirt, paid in advertising space. The 3 on the back belongs to a futsal defender. The brand is Legea of Pompeii, the Neapolitan teamwear giant whose catalogue travels the whole amateur world, giving this piece its delicious paradox: designed at the foot of Vesuvius, worn in a Dutch sports hall, by a team with a pizzaiolo's name and a king's crest.

Here at Hoopster, this is proof of the pattern's democracy: the same hoops serve Benetton's scudetto and Ciro's Wednesday night five-a-side.
