The story
Bold hoops, a collar from another era and a flocked sponsor that smells of Sunday mornings: Maitres Patissiers Capecchi, the master pastry chefs of Sète. On the chest, Marius Trésor's MT65 logo, and on the back a black 4 worn by the years. It is a match worn shirt from the junior team, confirmed by one of the club's historic collectors, and it has survived almost four decades in remarkable shape.
It served in 1988/89, the last season of a world: FC Sète 34 finished 15th in group B of the second division and were relegated administratively to the third, strangled by their finances, bidding farewell to the old Georges Bayrou. The first club to win a double in France was by then playing with patisseries on its chest and kids carrying the name.
