Real Betis Balompié 2016/17 Special Shirt

One of the rarest shirts in Betis's recent history, and the only hooped one from a club forever tied to vertical stripes. For the 2017 Día de Andalucía, adidas turned the Béticos' shirt into the Andalusian flag itself: horizontal green and white bands, a gold embroidered crest and the region's flag on the back, in a limited edition debuted against Málaga on 26 February 2017 at the Villamarín.

The design closed a century old circle: the press instantly compared it to Celtic, precisely the club from which Manuel Ramos Asencio brought the green and white shirts that christened Betis. The fan printing on the back is a footnote: the real protagonist here is the land.
