AC Monopoli 2009/10 Home Shirt

A shirt from a season the club's own official history calls its most troubled: 2009/10, Lega Pro Seconda Divisione, a 10th place finish and the first signs of the boardroom crisis to come. The Joma hoops carry the Lega Pro patch on one sleeve and, on the other, a three legged triskelion over a ball, the same seal that reappears in miniature inside the 3 on the back, in true kit printer fashion, with the crest's seagull and waves on the chest.

Joma, born in Toledo in 1965 in the hands of an 18 year old, dresses professional southern Italy here: the same factory that kits out Sevilla kits out a Monopoli defender in a difficult year.
