The story

This shirt made history before a ball was kicked: it was Celtic's first by New Balance, only the third manufacturer in the club's history, on a five year deal worth around £30 million that ended ten years of Nike and was then the biggest in Scottish football. The collar carries the motto "A Club like no other" and the back of the neck a Celtic cross, a nod to the original 1888 crest.

On the pitch it was Ronny Deila's farewell season: a fifth title in a row, sealed with a 3-2 win over Aberdeen, and 40 goals from Leigh Griffiths, but also semi final defeats to Ross County and to Rangers on penalties, which prompted the Norwegian's exit and opened the door to Brendan Rodgers.

Here at Hoopster, this is Celtic's last match shirt with Magners on the chest, closing one era right on the doorstep of the Invincibles.
