The story
A match worn shirt from the finest campaign of Branch nº 24's golden era: in 1998/99, Lourinhanense finished third in the Zona Centro of the II Divisão B, scoring 61 goals and level on points with second place, and only another lion finished above them, Sporting da Covilhã, champions and promoted. The long-sleeved adidas carries the era's golden logo, poultry firm AVIBOM across the chest and Kilom above the black number 6, with the trefoil hidden inside the digit.
No single name owns the 6: in that era numbers were not fixed and were handed out match by match. What is known is who wore them most: the season's most-used eleven featured Vasco Faísca and Miguel Vargas, two of the lions loaned by Alvalade, alongside Márcio Santos, Alhandra, Nuno Assis and Ivo Damas.
