UE Llagostera 2011/12 Home Shirt

Two toned green, hoops dissolving into side panels of grey chevrons, Hummel's famous stripes, and a golden league patch marking the season. This is the shirt of the absolute debut: 2011/12, Llagostera's first season in Segunda División B, Spain's third national tier, reached a year earlier with the Tercera División group title. The club finished just one point short of the promotion play-off in that debut season, and the following year would reach the last 32 of the Copa del Rey against Valencia. On the chest, Piscines Sant Feliu, a swimming pool company from neighbouring Sant Feliu de Guíxols, and beside it FAR Law Sports, a sports law firm, two sponsors that neatly sum up the coastal Catalonia where the club lives. It is the shirt of the boldest leap in Llagostera's history, the moment a small Girona town decided it too could play for real.

Here at Hoopster, the crest still speaks Latin: Lacustaria, the name the town was born with, long before any promotion.
