If 2025/26 was the rescue shirt, this is the reward: Sporting de Lamego won the Zona Norte of the 1.ª Divisão Distrital, celebrated promotion on the final matchday and returns to the AF Viseu Divisão de Honra dressed like this. CDT took the city's official motto, Lamego cidade monumental, literally: inside every green hoop sits the city itself, drawn in fine line work, houses, churches and balconies, with the skyline of the cathedral, the castle and the Remédios sanctuary cutting across the chest and the back hem.

The details keep coming: the Queijo Paiva friar, cheese made in Lamego since 1933, fills the chest in a red seal, the Municipality dresses the sleeves, local builder Delfim Duarte Santiago takes the back, and at the nape the founding 1934 crowns the motto in medieval lettering.
