The story

SV Heinenoord home shirt from the BeneVia era, made by Robey, with the hoops worked in tonal shadow stripes and the golden lucky clover the Rotterdam brand stitches onto the shoulder of everything it makes. The dating comes from the fabric itself: the current crest debuted in 2017/18 and BeneVia was renamed Fidus in 2021, which places this shirt between those two borders.

The best part is the sponsor: BeneVia was the brokerage arm of Heinenoord Holding, an insurance group born in the village and named after it. On the back, the 24 shares space with Van der Wulp Autobedrijven's Volvo; the sleeves carry De Jong Verpakking and Profile DBS; at the back of the neck, EST. 1946 and the old municipal coat of arms with its wheat sheaf.

Here at Hoopster, we treasure the rare sight of a village sponsoring itself: Heinenoord worn on the chest of Heinenoord.
