Masita, the Dutch teamwear brand, dressed Zeelandia Middelburg in wide hoops with a green trimmed V neck, no sponsor and no number, in the year the city's two clubs were preparing to become one. The season is 2000/01, the last before the official 22 June 2001 merger between the working class Zeelandia of 1910 and the golden years Middelburg of 1916, which together created Zeeland's biggest club. This shirt likely already belongs to that transition: the new club's name was born right at the close of this very season.
