Eight years after the giant orange block, adidas kept the polo collar but turned the volume down: thinner hoops, a clean white back with SCR at the neck, and Wien Energie tidied into discreet boxes on the chest. The three stars remain above the crest of Austria's record champions.
This was the farewell shirt of the old Gerhard Hanappi, closed in the summer of 2014 to make way for the future Allianz Stadion. Zoran Barišić's Rapid, a former midfielder of the house and a 1996 Cup Winners' Cup finalist, finished second behind Salzburg and played the Europa League group stage against Genk, Dynamo Kyiv and Thun, with European nights moved to the Ernst Happel.
