The story

Green and white hoops with a navy collar and tricolour trim, a 2000s polo cut, and a minimalist crest where the initials C.C. cross a diagonal blue and red band. It is the most direct tribute to Celtic of Glasgow in the whole collection, made not by chance but by a founding decision in 1969, when a group of boys from Tetuán swapped the name Celta de Castilla for that of the Scottish club then champions of Europe. The brand is Zico, founded in 1988 in O Porriño, Galicia, by José González, a former professional cyclist who, like so many others in this collection, traded the bicycle for the needle and thread. It is the shirt that closes the collection's own circle: a club born to imitate Celtic, now kept in a collection born to gather everything that resembles Celtic. Few pieces better sum up why this journey began in the first place.

Here at Hoopster, it is the tribute that explains the whole collection: a club that chose to call itself Celtic, kept by an archive built around everything that looks like Celtic.
