Sporting Clube de Portugal 2025/26 Special Shirt

Some shirts are bought and some are given. This one was a gift from its maker, the artist @thelaworks, who took the 2025/26 home shirt with its golden back to back champions patch and turned it into a canvas: Francisco Trincão hand painted in black and white, wrapped in a burst of gold paint embracing the crest and the Campeão badge. The choice of subject tells its own story: Trincão was the hero of the Jamor in 2025, scorer of two goals in the cup final win over Benfica that sealed the double, and in 2025/26 he wore these hoops again in a season of contrasts, with Sporting reaching the Champions League quarter finals for the first time while surrendering the league title to Porto and losing an improbable cup final to second tier Torreense. The shirt itself rose above the results: unique in the literal sense, hand painted, impossible to repeat. In a collection built from hoops produced by the thousands, this is the exception that exists in a single copy. And it came with the best provenance of all: the generosity of the person who made it.
