SV Menzelen 1925 2013/14 Home Shirt

The second chapter of German amateur football's most charming phenomenon: green and white clubs buying Celtic replicas and making them their own. The base is the Scots' 2012/13 home shirt, from the 125th anniversary and the epic night Celtic toppled Messi's Barcelona in the Champions League, recognisable by the narrow hoops, the white number zone on the back and the hoops returning at the hem. Menzelen customised the long sleeved version with sponsorship from Firmengruppe Werle, a construction group from neighbouring Alpen, Sport Palast on the sleeve and the club's name above the number 17. Unlike other cases, there is no disguise here: green and white has been the house colour since 1925, and Celtic merely lent out its formal wear.
